XBOX Live renewal charged despite cancellation. Please help.

We have been charged for XBOX live membership ([Mod removed]) despite cancelling online in July.
We have not used XBOX Live since our 360 machine broke and my son is waiting for the XBOX One machine for his birthday next year.
Can you please refund the £39.99 immediately. We have been loyal customers of microsoft for years and do not expect this level of service.

Need help turning off Auto Renewal

My gamertag is: , I need help turning off Auto-Renewal for the credit card currently on my Xbox Live profile. I wish to not be charged monthly, I'd rather just purchase Xbox Live as I want it. Please help me so I am not charged every month!

Xbox Live hard to cancel

I got a deal when I set up my new profile on a 3 month subscription to Xbox Live. I paid $9.99 for 3 months. Then I forgot to cancel it and they automatically charged my card. I just figured out how to remove the automatic renewal but I have a charge pending for another 3 months. It is so hard to cancel a subscription.

No one here can refund you the money.

You will need to phone support for your region as they are the only ones who can deal with billing issues.

If an Xbox Live account is permabanned the subscription tied to that account is cancelled. So it sould stop charging for the renewal.

No, you cannot cancel auto-renewal over the internet. Please see the following link:

support.xbox.com/.../cancel-account

Since you have a creditcard attached I assume you have auto renewal which charges you every month. In order to make it charge your other card you'll first need to cancel your auto renewal.

After you've done that you can then subscribe again for Xbox Live Gold using your new creditcard
