    I got an Xbox one for x-mas in the UK and I loved it. I am on vacation in the US and I saw Forza Horizon 2 and I had enough money to buy it so when I went in the store I asked if the game was regional specific and they said none of the games were, you just
    had to tinker with settings (location, time, etc.) and it should work. I wasn't totally convinced so I didn't buy it and did some research. This is when the problem came. I saw that some people said that the games weren't region specific but Xbox Live was
    and the Forza games kinda depend on Xbox Live and I would like to play online and they said that if I had an Xbox from UK but bought the game in US the Live services wouldn't work. I really want the game and I don't want to pay extra for the UK version but
    I also don't wanna waste my money so I'm asking you guys for help. I know this question is probably asked often but I just wanted to double check and get a recent answer instead of dated threads. Thanks for all the help (sorry this is a bit chunky, just giving

    Can I watch Blu-ray and DVD movies using my Xbox One? What region does it play? Is it locked to a specific region? I live in the UAE by the way.

    I actually don't believe that's true, as I understand all games are region free for the Xbox One and that means you can purchase from anywhere and the online capabilities will work the same regardless of your locale settings etc.

    The one thing that's region specific is currency cards and possibly Xbox Live gold subscription, but I'm not certain on the latter.

    I already have Xbox Live Gold (bought it in UK through the Xbox store) so if I get the game in US and try to play multiplayer online on my UK Xbox in the UK will the game work? Thanks.

    Games are region free, dlc however is not, something to bear in mind if you want the dlc.

    I dont have the dlc so cannot comment but the game is worth it on its own.

    Ok. I just found that the game is cheaper on Amazon UK so I'm just gonna order it there. Thanks for the help though everyone!

    you cant Kazakhstan isn't an xbox live region

    To buy xbox360 Games you must live in an xbox live region and have a valid payment option

    Most triple a Games requires your To live in an xbox live region as it checks your physical region

    Games and content on the Xbox Live network are region locked and provides data exclusive the region. If you are in a region that does not have Xbox Live support you would not be able to access the marketplace or Xbox Live. This same region lock also applies
    to buying disc based games when in other regions; the region of the game must match the region of your console itself.

    Better question WHAT region are you in?.if you dont live I. An xbox live region or a gamepass region then It wont work

    As not all xbox regions are supported

    Now if you dont live in an xbox live region or using a different region then you actually live for the sake of us games thats the reason why

    Payment methods and xbox console and account regions MUST be the same

    In order to get 360 games you must live in an xbox live region and have a payment method from that region

    ok with gears games you need to live in an Xbox live region if you don't or live in China or japan it won't work

    Your account region and console.and language region must match your physical region unless you don't live in an Xbox live region
