Xbox Live refund

XBox Is Currently Having Problem, Seeing That I Cannot Connect to live, i demand that we have a refund, i paid for a 3 months sub and here we are can not connect because xbox decided to update or whatever the problem, seeing i paid for 3 months and xbox
having problem i dont think it should count my days because i am unable to connect to xbox because "they" are working on it so hopefully i get my 3 months in i counted the days of not connecting to xbox, 1 was the day xbox got hacked and 2nd which is happening
today for whatever the reason. dont understand how yall provide a service without some type of extra since we paid good money to be online to play or watch.

Anyone else getting preorder refunds from Amazon or elsewhere?

I am going thru my email and I have 2 refunds from Amazon on my Xbox One games.
I got this same email for all the games I preordered thru Amazon, bring the game cost
down to only $48.99 each.

I know right. They always seem to be having these problems at choice times. I believe they are kinda jipping us because of all the days Xbox Live has been down.

It's not something that Microsoft can do much about it.

But you're not going to get a refund for a three month subscription because of two evening outages. You can call the Support line and report the outage. You MIGHT get a free month added, but I wouldn't expect much more than that.

 

I think a multi-billion dollar company like microsoft can afford a kickback for the constant errors, i mean i odnt know about you guys but i don't feel to comfortable giving them any more money if they cant even prevent an attack when it just happened 4
days ago. This "xbox live was hacked" news is becoming a trend, and i for one am sick of sacrificing gameplay because of vendetta's that microsoft have created against themselves when i can just as easily online game on my computer with no need for the worthless
"xbox live"

I said before i'm pretty much done with it, i'm done supporting microsoft after these repeted attacks, and i'm sure i'm not alone on that. They had better come up with a pretty package as an apology if they expect to get in my good graces again.

You're out two evenings. For your 12 month, $60 Live subscription, being out two days equals $.33. You can call Support to complain and see if they'll offer you anything, but two evenings of losing Xbox Live doesn't mean you're whole having system is bricked
for goodness sake.

 

It really is not simply about the number of days. In taking the $60 MS agreed to provide a service - they are not providing the service. Which means they are in breech of the entire contract. I am certain that anyone who pushed it would get a full refund
on their subscription - of course MS would also cancel your subscription and most likely not issue you a new one when the problem is fixed.

 

why would i use valve? how about sc1 mother *** they take down battlenet? and no i don't mean battle.net

 

i think a muilt billion dollar company like microsoft can afford to give us a lil something for their errors or screw up, the only reason why i paid for 3 months becuz i like that plan yea would be better if i get the yearly but i like the 3 months plan,
becuz of something like this happens, and im going to make sure i get my money worth. i just dont see how microsoft can support a product that they have to intrupt your service just so they can fix whatever they need when should have put in the updates not
while watching tv or playing games, this is like verizon wireless stop your calls because they gotta do an update sorry no 911 calls or any calls for about 45 mins or so give or take and trust me i understand that things happens but here lately things have
been really screwy in the past couple of weeks, at least verizon gave me extra data and 25% off my bills when something happens to them lol but microsoft nada which they need to change that.

 

not just the sub scribe time but also for those games you pay for prim. time. or movies what about that. the time is ticking away still and you lose out on it. when I played games on my computer and things like this happen they comp. you for it.

 

Hey Paper, you're not a lawyer, but I am. I guarantee you that Microsoft is not in breach of contract (I also guarantee you didn't read the Terms of Service for Xbox Live before making that claim.

Microsoft didn't guarantee that Xbox Live would never be subject to service interruptions caused by third parties and would always be available 365/24/7. They aren't in breach, sorry.

Like I said, you can call Support and complain and see if they're willing to offer you something. I've gotten free movies or a free month tacked on to my Live subscription in the past.

I've had this service for years and this is the first time I've had this problem, but it's also the first time they've had a group successfully do two DS attacks this close together.

 

^ with diaga i agree i have like 62 titles downloaded to my xbox, wo knows how much i spent to get all those games, probably upwords of 200 dollars that i'm out on now until they fix their network.
