Xbox live redeem code issue.....

Hi. I got halo 5 and got a 14 day trial to xbox live. I entered the 14day trail code, and it tells me that i already have it enabled. When i try to hop in to arena it tells me i do not have multilayer privileges enabled. What do i do? Help! This is for xbox

Are you having trouble using the Xbox One Online features?

This is of course part of the launch growing process but it's being reported that Xbox One users are having issues with accessing multiplayer, redeeming their Xbox Live codes and using Squad Assualt in COD: Ghosts. It's official because Microsoft has put a message about the problem on the Xbox Live Status page. I doubt that the problem is going to last that long though, Microsoft will probably have it fixed in a few days.

If I remember correctly, the XBL trial code do not give you full access to Gold, only access to certain things. To game on-line you would need a full subscription.

The conclusion I came to with this issue was that people are trying to redeem the code with an a account that has shared membership you must redeem the code on a profile that actually has xbox live
