Xbox Live recurring payment [Very old account]

Hi,

Years ago I had a subscription to Xbox Live which was paid with a parents card. It's been brought to my attention recently that the account is still taking yearly recurring subscriptions, but I haven't used the account since I last had an xbox 360 in around
2011, and have no idea what the account information is (account was made around 2009, and i've slept since then )

Anyway, is there any way Xbox can trace the account by card number and cancel the subscription WITHOUT me having the account information? It appears 12 year old me was an idiot and didn't write that info down. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

You should be able to access direct debits via your bank, and cancel that way.

Should the card not have expired by now if it was last used in 2011?

Online purchasing is one piece of the issue here, but do they allow for recurring payments? Payment methods for Xbox must allow this as they may be used to buy recurring Xbox LIVE subscriptions.

Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services and login with your account on which you have payments set for Xbox Live. You'll see your Xbox Live Subscription there. Click
on Turn off recurring payments or just cancel the subscription.

You can then use your primary account to subscribe to Xbox Live Gold if needed.

Are you talking about Xbox credit from your Microsoft account balance? That system is not set up to work with a recurring subscription so it cannot be used as a payment method for Live.

Hey,

if its a recurring payment you can visit the payment and billing page and turn off the recurring payments. It will let you finish off the current cycle and will not charge your account further.
