Xbox Live randomly Disconnecting

So, I've had these issues in the past, but they were resolved with my father messing with the firewall settings to make my connection Moderate rather than Strict. It was fine for about half a year and I rarely ever got an xbox live disconnection since he
messed with it, but about 3 days ago I started getting disconnected every 10 to 30 minutes and it's annoying since I play Dark Souls 1 and 2 a lot and cant ever get help on a boss due to the issue. I have tried both wired and wireless with the same results,
I've reset the modem, router, firewall, and xbox, deleted corrupted items, deleted system cache, and pretty much anything else you can think of. It's not our internet service or router/firewall/modem as none of these have changed since my dad messed with the
firewall settings enough to get it working perfectly. My Xbox is the Halo 4 one, so I'm pretty sure that's not the issue either. Any help?

Today my xbox just started to randomly disconnecting from Live and I dont know why any help?

 

it may actually be that the xbox may be damaged have you tried another xbox?

 

I don't see how it's damaged. Never dropped it once and nobody has borrowed it. But to answer your question, no I have not. Nor do I have another xbox I can try. At the moment my friend is playing Dark Souls online after I reset my firewall and router for
30 seconds and I set my DNS primary to 8.8.8.8 and the Secondary at 0.0.0.0. We're giving it a half hour to see if it fixes. It seems to only have this issue when I'm not 100% using online (Dark Souls is only partially online).

 

So as of 1:00 AM Pacific it hadn't kicked us off. I'm going to test it at longer durations tomorrow when I wake up and update my status on this thread
