    For the past week or so my xbox live keeps randomly disconnecting, and I never had a problem. And im seeing alot of people experiencing the same issue, something must be going on. Does anyone have any idea whats going on? Maybe it's just certain areas.

    Thanks, that seems to have also helped my second problem of randomly disconnecting from Xbox live.

    Xbox live randomly disconnecting

    Noticed this today on my 360, can't get through a single gaming session without disconnecting. Way to start the holiday weekend.

    Location is the greater Seattle/Tacoma area, ISP is Comcast, direct Ethernet connection to modem with open NAT & static IP. Hulu streaming on my Roku 3 is just fine and everything else works just fine, too.

    It's fixed, problem was on my end.

    My sister somehow set up her laptop with a static IP address that just happened to be the same as the one I setup on my main 360. You may want to check your DHCP settings on your modem/router to make sure your static addresses are outside of the DHCP rang
    set in your (router/modem). Hit me back if you need help doing this.

    Its fine now havent got a disconnect in days. Something was screwy with xbox live.
