xbox Live question.

My sons card ran out after he moved. I bought a 3 month card at the store and redeemed it online. How do I get that membership to my console?

Can i order a standard Xbox 360 Live 12-moth Gold code online, to use on Xbox One Live?
They are all the same i assume, i don't need a special Xbox One version do i...

i don't want any fancy Killer Instinct xbone promo live version as mentioned above.

That's what I sort of suggested earlier but didn't get an answer

We have a 7day Xbox Live pass so I can now go on the 360 make her profile an online one then transfer it across to the Xbox One within the 7 days

Next question mate, how do I make her profile Live? Lol

When you add live via the website instead of the console, there can be a delay before it will show on the console. Sign into his account on the console and try testing the connection. That should resync his account to the servers and update the subscription
quicker.

 

Herein lies the problem. I redeemed it in MY online account. Not his. On the console, under settings, account is grayed out in all profiles. Totally unclickable. I'm pretty sure I'm close to a viral xbox smashing youtube video at this point. I just
bought a wireless adapter and although it connects to my network and the internet, it will NOT connect to live. Any suggestions?

 

Are you using the 360 or the One?

The gold does need to be added to your son's account in order for him to be able to use it. You would need to contact support and see if they can cancel the subscription and give you a token for the remaining time to add to his account. 1-800-4my-xbox if

you have to redeem it on console or the membership u put online will be on the account you put online
