I would like to inform you all about Xbox Live Promos If you ever see RENEW GOLD NOW for 5/month do not as its NOT 5/month its actually charging you 60 bucks though 12 months.

The promo was Games with Gold it said renew gold now and get 2 times the games with gold in April I decided what the heck 5/month I can manage that and I later received a email saying pending transaction of 59.99 for my purchase I contacted them here is

I decided to that and I click on 5/month that seems to come with 12 months for to use that deal as 5 dollars per month for 12 months is 60 dollars which what the console was saying :/

Can i order a standard Xbox 360 Live 12-moth Gold code online, to use on Xbox One Live?
They are all the same i assume, i don't need a special Xbox One version do i...

60 divided by 12 = $5 per month.

There is always an disclaimer at the bottom to state its a 12 month offer and a single transaction.

No idea why they are telling you its a fault and be changed, as its simply not.

 

Yeah, they've run that same type of promotion for as long as I can remember and it's always stated somewhere on the promo that you will be charged the full $60 immediately.

 

That promo screen has been on my dashboard for about 3 years, as i was silver that long.

The small print has always been there.
