Xbox Live profile won't download to 360, Error message 8015000A

Hello All, I purchased an Xbox One and created an Xbox Live account in December. I have had a 360 for several years, but never played online. I tried to download my profile to the 360 and keep getting error message: Sorry, Xbox Live profiles can't be downloaded
right now. Try again later. 8015000A.

Troubleshooting so far:

Made sure that I was signed out on Xbox One and unplugged it.

Deleted existing profile on 360. The profile that was on the 360 was created on the 360 and only used on the 360, never online.

Cleared cache on 360 at least 300 times.

Deleted all files from 360, the only thing on the hard drive was games that I had played. Before I deleted the games, I transferred them to a USB drive. (hope my achievements are saved)

Reset 360 to factory settings, tried to download profile, same message.

Tried to download my Xbox Live profile from the guide button and from the social tab, got same error message, every time.

Changed the password and email address on my Live account, then tried to download my Xbox Live profile multiple times, same error message.

Set up Two-Step Verification, just to make sure it was turned off.

Added additional emails to my Live account, made them primary.

I have tried to download my original profile on 3 other functioning Xbox 360s, no luck.

I created a new Xbox Live dummy profile. It downloaded to my 360 with no issues. This profile was signed out after it downloaded.

I have downloaded my original Xbox Live profile on another Xbox One, with no issues. Then deleted it.

Went to recent activity and checked "This Was Me" under all the security challenges.

I have cleared the cache at least three times before each attempt to download my profile.

I have spent 8 hours the last two days with Microsoft support. Nothing they suggested has worked.

I would appreciate any suggestions or questions.

Hello!

You can clear your system cache by going to

(Guide Button)

System

Storage/Memory

Highlight over storage and Press Y

Select Clear System Cache

Power Cycle the box. Try the download again.

 

Connect a USB flash drive on your Xbox 360 console and download your profile there.

OndoyBahista, thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately, that did not work either. I will see: Hi ScubaDaveTN! for less than a second and then the error message pops up.

I have bad news for you. Achievements are saved ON YOUR GAMERTAG PROFILE! So since you say your 360 profile was never online, all your achievements were ONLY stored on that offline profile that you now deleted.

Since you don't seem to have any gaming progress yet on your ScubaDaveTN gamertag yet, I'd suggest the other way around:

Create a Gamertag on the Xbox 360 console, set it all up, and make sure it's up and running and an online profile.

Then download THAT Xbox 360 profile to your Xbox One.

Since you deleted your old 360 profile, you also don't have access to your old savegames and other gaming progress as well as Achievements mentioned above.

I'm sorry to say that, but you're starting with a clean slate it seems :-(
