    Hi, everybody.

    I just got XBOX ONE for my birthday, this morning, and I can't play any online games because I don't have membership. But when I try and redeem my 14-day code I got, I get the error:

    You have a Gold membership already
    Give this trial Gold membership to a friend who hasn't tried Gold, and let them see what they've been missing on Xbox Live.
    Please help? Very desperate.

    I have only had a problem with xbox live once, and that was with the titanfall launch problems. Other then that live works perfect.

    XBOX Live: Problems.

    Sorry to hear it. If I was your parent I would've held that one for Christmas, lol.

    Anyway, your tag is showing as a Gold membership so it's probably just a glitch. Try deleting your tag from the console, then hold the power button on it for 10 seconds until it shuts down. Finally redownload your profile to see if it helps.

    Well, going to have to make a new XBL account. Because it seems that it won't work no matter what

    Sorry that didn't work. What I would suggest here then is to call phone support for more assistance. They should be able to help you get this straightened out.

    It sounds like you need to promote your child account to an adult account. Here's our guide on how to do that:

    support.xbox.com/.../online-safety    .

    If you need help remembering the account name/password for the parent account, you can use the

    xbox.com/forgot     site to try to recover forgotten information.

    It tells me NOT ALOWED ON XBOX LIVE. The word FALL is BANNED from XBOX LIVE. How is something banned from XBOX LIVE not XBOX LIVES problem? As I said its a Microsoft Problem and they have to fix it.
