    I do not know why my account is not connecting to xbox live. And what can I do to fix this issue?

    I have only had a problem with xbox live once, and that was with the titanfall launch problems. Other then that live works perfect.

    Xbox live problems

    Unplug all cables and wait about an hour and boot up your console. Run a test of your connectivity issues in the settings section of your dashboard. If you are still having connection issues, log onto Xbox.com click on support to chat with an Xbox Ambassador
    to get you up & running again.
