Xbox Live Policy and Enforcement

I know many people on Xbox Live have wonderful experiences while playing their games online, but sadly, not everyone does due to cheating, account theft, general rudeness, and other nefarious deeds from others. I've also noticed that a lot of Xbox Live members
are actually not aware of what's expected of them, how the reputation system works (some don't even believe it works at all), and how policies are enforced. So, to that end, I've decided to help out a little bit by pointing you in the right direction.

Those are the absolute two best links a person and an ambassador should be giving out in regards to what is expected of a gamer on Xbox Live. Anything less would be uncivilized....(who remembers those commercials?)

When did I say that? All I said was his link wasnt the best as it doesnt provide much information, while also providing links for GG to give out for future helping. But thanks for providing useless feedback and trying to cause trouble.

 

I've provided those links in the past, Akame. The link I provided in this particular thread is all-encompassing, covering multiple aspects of the reputation system and enforcement on Xbox Live INCLUDING the Xbox Live Code of Conduct and Terms of Use.

 

The reality is, everyone should know these rules and expectations anyway, as they ticked that box when creating their account.

The only people coming here claiming "they didn`t know" are just trying to worm their way out of something.

 

Owen, although I'm sure there will be a fair share of those who "may be trying to worm their way out of something," there are still many good people who genuinely don't understand how it works or who believe that it doesn't work at all - this thread was
created for those people; not the former. Besides, if someone comes here trying to manipulate their way out of something, how exactly are they going to do that (please don't answer that question)? I have no power or authority over enforcement so they're not
going to accomplish much by coming here.

 

If they don`t understand it they shouldn`t tick the box to agree with it.

By ticking the box they agree they have read and understood the terms and conditions.
