Hello to all that sit behind the support crew of XBL and this powerful company.

Today i write to you as an upset and concerned member of your Online society.

It has come to my attention that some profile scamming and general naughtiness has been occurring with a certain profile for sometime. This first started when i was looking online for what people sell their account for i came across someone with repetitive posts
and responses.

Next i find only a single person that has multiple posts for months. I approached this person and through great difficulty they have supplied there ESO online details, XBL details and have verified everything.

Only to change all the details once payment was carried out.

Since getting money back for these types of things is rare. All i ask of you is to ban the XBL account that i have technically purchased off the individual. In doing so i will feel justice and all the other people that they are scamming will no longer be
affected.

The gamer tag that was supplied was : [Mod Removed] This was on the 08/05 to 09/05 when i purchased it. The details have since been changed.

I Will supply all the evidence below that has led me to this point and anything additional if you would be so kindly to request anything that is needed. Thankyou!

Hacked or stolen and moved account

A normal Unauthorized Access Investigation takes 25 days. Xbox Live was not hacked, but your account could have been compromised by giving a scammer some type of account information on accident. You can even be doing it without knowing! But threatening
to create a lawsuit on Xbox.com Forums is not allowed. Please direct all billing issues to Xbox Phone Support, the forums can't help you regarding your accounts billing issues. I hope this helps and your problem gets solved.

You would need to file a complaint on him via the console in order for the enforcement team to investigate him. They do not take reports via the forums and calling out other gamers is not allowed on the forums.

Wait, hold on. You telling me it's against the guidelines of Xbox of a player warning and help the prevention of a scammer that is trying get $100 out of players. Surely you do have guidelines that help prevent scammers to ensure safety of players. So I helped enforce your guidelines against scammers when I helped make a post to bring awareness and prevention to fellow gamers of a scammer. Yet I got punished for that?

I did not insult with slang, harassed, or even use aggression. I called them out to the public to bring awareness of the potential harm that could happen to them. If I am to be punished for helping my fellow gamers, then who are you protecting. The community or the scammer?

well your not gonna get your points back and only reporting the scammer from the console will they be dealt with by the Enforcement Team. but as the other poster said you could get into trouble for even trying to do what the scammer was offering.
