Xbox live Ping different on different accounts

Hi All, i have a question regarding ping on my Xbox live. When playing Fortnite, my ping runs at around 200, which is causing issues with gameplay. However, when I sign in with another users profile on the same Xbox, the ping drops to 15-25.

This is the same no matter how the Xbox is connected, even with an ethernet cable directly to the router. I have looked through the obvious settings, but I cannot understand why I have this issue only on one account.

Is anybody able to suggest anything I could try please?

Hi!

Check on your Fortnite account to see of you have a different region on your other account, If it’s the same server then try deleting that profile off your Xbox and re-downloading it back on.

Hey!

Sorry to hear your having an issue with your network. Try deleting your profile in question , disconnect the network after, powercycle the console, then reconnect the network, then re download the profile and sign in and try again. Hope this helps! Powercycle
