    My xbox 360 is saying that my profile "does not have the correct permissions to access xbox live functionality." I dont know what this means or how to fix it, please help!

    Hi guys, i'm having some problems with my Xbox live gold subscription, i already bought Xbox live gold but when i trie to play a online game it says that my account doesn't have the permission to acces xbox live gold. I hope you could help me.

    I have some problems with my family settings. Because when im about to join bfbc 2 multiplayer it sais

    "Your xbox profile does not have the correct permission to acces xbox live functionality"

    I dont know what to do i have tried everything. Please help!!!

    Is this a problem with permissions inside the game or with parental permissions on the Xbox?

    Problem:

    You see the following error and message when you try to sign in to Xbox Live using a child account:

    Before you can sign in here, you'll need to sign in at Xbox.com.

    An adult will also need to sign in so they can give permission.

    Code: 83118853

    This means that the parent account must provide permission for each associated child account (under age 13) before the child can access Xbox Live

    Solution:

    To resolve this issue, have the child account sign in to Xbox.com. Then, when prompted, the parent account associated with the child account should sign in to Xbox.com and give permission for the child account to sign in to Xbox Live.

    If you keep experiencing the problem, contact Xbox Support.
