My PC's does not use 40Mb/s or 10 Mb/s because they are turned off. They don't download anything, It is a problem of Xbox live which is limiting my download speed on XSX.

I finally managed to fix it, at least for me... was getting 7-9 MB/s and I am now getting 33-40 MB/s. The Windows Auto-tuning level was disabled.

Pause all downloads and close the Xbox app.

Here is what fixed it :

1. Open PowerShell as administrator.

2. Enter this command -> netsh interface tcp show global.

3. For me, the "Receive Window Auto-Tuning Level" was set to disabled.

4. To enable it, enter this command -> netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal

5. You can enter the command at step 2 to validate that the Auto-tuning is set to "normal"

Launch the Xbox app and start the download again. You should see improved download speed. I hope that this helps !

Thanks for reaching out to the forums! When you say "Xbox Live" are you referring to the Xbox PC App?

Xbox One has no minimum broadband required speeds and Xbox One will have 300,000 XBL Azure servers, a big difference to Xbox 360's 15,000 XBL servers. I get the feeling that after I test my speed and it comes up with 8.5Mb/sec, when I download internet files
from my PC, it does that downloading speed, maybe slightly faster, on my PC, but when I try to download stuff on Xbox Live via my Xbox 360 Slim, even with the Ethernet cable plugged in , I feel that it's only doing it at like 1.0Mb/sec because there are
only 15,000 XBL servers for the 360. Sometimes on some pages, it lists like a recommended minimum downloading speed something like 2MB/sec.
