Xbox Live Party Problem with Mic

Hello,

My problem:

If I start or join an xbox live party my mic will not produce any sound in the party. Instead my mic goes through game chat. But I can hear everyone in the party, and I can hear my game's audio. I just cannot reply or talk to people in the party. I get the
error:

[0x8923102B]

I tried searching that and found nothing.

Things I have already tried:

1. Mute mic, unmute mic (in party and in audio settings)

2. Join game chat from party, then join back to party chat

3. Unplug headset and plug back in

4. Log out of my profile on my xbox and log back on

5. Hold xbox button for 10 seconds shutting off the console. Wait. Turn back on

6. Unplug xbox. Wait. Plug back in and turn on

7. Go in privacy settings. Turn mic on. (But I never changed my privacy settings and it used to work).

8. Plugging in a different headset.

Can anyone help me? Know how to get parties to work again?

Tritton Kunai Xbox ONE Stereo Headset echoing during chat

Unfortunately, updating the controller with the headset and mic plugged in did NOT fix the problem. I immediately went into a friend's Xbox LIVE Party and tested it out. This saddens me.

 

Lips number one hits microphone problem

Is the mic an xbox usb mic or just a 3rd party mic? If it's 3rd party it may not work with the titles properly.

 

I fixed the problem shortly after posting this.

I removed my account from my xbox and then re added it.

I can now talk in parties again.

Maybe this will help someone else.
