Xbox live party (open NAT)

I have all the ports forwarded that are recommended for the Xbox One. But I always have problems talking in parties. I can chat for several minutes then it will no longer let me.

Xbox Live connection Issue

@Shadows - Yes, everyone in the Xbox Live party has an Open NAT.

@Vibro - I'm using the Xbox 360 wireless headset.

Xbox connection issues HELP!!!

Why do I only disconnect from an xbox live party when a certain person joins my party? It also causes whatever game I'm playing to lag and sometimes disconnect. Really frustrating. We both have open NAT types. Otherwise connection is flawless. Even have gone into my router settings and opened all necessary ports. PLEASE HELP!!!

A few fixes are:

1. Party leader switch the party form open to invite only and back

2. Switch to game chat and then back

Or the one that always work, make a Skype account and use Skype because MS is probably not going to be fixing it anytime soon, they are too busy adding features no one cares about or uses for about a week then stops.

I would also check your NAT settings. This can be done by running the Xbox LIVE test on the xbox its self. If you have a Moderate or strict NAT you WILL have problems connecting to xbox LIVE, multiplayer games, LIVE parties, ext. If this is true then you
will need to open some ports in your router to open your connection to more people.

Are both of your NAT's open? Did you try troubleshooting using this page
support.xbox.com/.../parties-voice-chat

it might not be you, its the other friend nats that might not be open, i learned this along time ago, i had modern nat,, it wont let me join friends, than i learned how to open nat, when my nat is open, i try joining friends partys, i learned that they didnt
have open nat too so ask your friends if they got open nat by testing live
