    Xbox Live Party Notifications No Longer Working


    Hello,

    Yesterday I did a reset of my console (Keeping my games and apps but resetting the console setting) due to an issue with Minecraft crashing frequently. After the update, Minecraft seemed to be better but now I do not receive notifications to join Parties or when I receive messages.

    I have tried resetting my console again (both in the settings as I did before and doing a hard reset by holding the power button down for a while) but it has not fixed the issue.

    I went through all of my settings and they all seem normal but When I go to preferences -> Notifications -> xbox notifications -> Party & Game Notifications the box for "Show Banner" is Always unchecked. Even when I check it and back out, when I go back into the menu it stays unchecked.

    As a last resort, I am transferring all my games to my external storage and doing a clean console wipe.

    Has anyone else had this issue?

    No notification when friends come online (notifications turned on )

    Same here. I no longer get notifications when friends come online. I only get notifications when a friend is playing the same game as me. Msg notifications and party invites works fine, but it's kinda annoying if you're playing a different game waiting for
    your friends to come online.

    I noticed the same issue after a recent update to the app. There is simply no longer an option to receive party invite notifications in the notification settings of the app.
