Xbox Live Party does not work between Xbox One and Xbox 360

Xbox Live Party does not work between Xbox
One and Xbox 360 consoles. When I'm playing Xbox 360 game on Xbox One (for example Gears Of War 3) I see
the Xbox 360 game Party invitation,
but I can not join the Party with Xbox
One console. Why? Can you fix this?

Will there be an Xbox Live Party mode for One?

You have to admit the name is really catchy. Xbox Live <<<<PaRtY>>>> sounds better than S-k-y-p-e--C-a-l-l. So will Microsoft have an Xbox Live Party chat mode for Xbox One. Xbox Live PARTY is like one of the BIGGEST features on Xbox Live. I know you will
not be able to cross platform chat between Xbox One and Xbox 360. Unless they rename Skype Call Xbox Skype Party or at least something with the word Party in it. smiles xx

Live Account over 360 and Xbox One

Has it been stated anywhere how it's going to work if you move to Xbox One & keep your 360 ?

Will you still be able to log into Live with your gamertag on both machines (ie swapping between the two systems at will) or will your gamertag be stuck on the Xbox One ??

Hi make sure you are joining the party through the Xbox 360 guide, and not through the Xbox one guide. If you're not sure how to access the Xbox 360 guide, press the two buttons either side of the Xbox button at the same time on the controller. This will
bring up the Xbox 360 guide, and you can join the party from there.

You cannot play games in the group between X1 and X360. Still if you are using backward compatibility you can have a group like in real X360 to open its guide you need to push (not guide button) but two buttons on left and right in the same time (View and
Menu).

Forgot to answer the question about the party chat. Party chat does not work between the 360 and One only text messages. If you play a 360 game that has in game voice communications that will work.

1. Why can't we cross platform chat between 360 and One. There's only ONE Xbox Live service and both consoles will be using it. I would still like there to be an Xbox Live Party chat mode for One users because it's like one of the biggest things on Xbox
Live. Skype Call is just S-k-y-p-e--C-a-l-l, unless they rename it Xbox Skype Party or at least something with the word Party. The word PaRtY in Xbox Live Party sounds way better than Skype-Call.

2. Console is bigger than the Slim. But the Kinect looks smaller than the 360's one. < It's not a real biggie for me this point. Will we still use our 360 avatars on the One?
