Xbox Live Party Communication errors

Hi There,

I have an issue that has been going on with my Xbox for a while now. When my friends and I are in a party, there is always one friend that I cannot hear in party chat, and he can't hear me. We can all hear everyone else, just not each other. It's even more
strange because we can communicate just fine over Skype for Xbox and also through game chat in certain games. I have forwarded all the relevant ports on my router and this still hasn't resolved the issue, as well as speaking to Xbox support on numerous occasions.
I have tried what I believe to be every solution under the sun, including;

placing the xbox in a network DMZ

Clearing my alternate MAC Address

Factory resetting my console

among other things. This is a very frustrating issue and we would like to have it resolved as soon as possible.

I am also under the impression now that it is an issue with one of our consoles, because we can hear each other fine by joining the party via the xbox app for mobiles and computers. He has a regular Xbox one and I have an Xbox One S.

We definitely don't have each other muted. This problem has persisted for over a year now. It is odd because recently when I have been running the network tests on my consoles, I can briefly hear him, for maybe a second or two before we go back to being
unable to hear each other.

To connect your xbox you should use the cable, and set a static IP address on your router

Have both of you checked that neither of you have each other muted? Seems odd that there would be an issue with just one friend.
