Recently I have been trying to join my friend’s party but it won’t let me join. I can join my other friends but it won’t let me join my one specific friend.

Game chat happening in my party chat

You may have been in game chat while you where in an Xbox Live Party. Check the features in your party settings to make sure you are in Xbox Live Party chat and not in game chat.

Party chat will only be available to live players. To chat with cross network gamers the app would probably need to implement some sort of voice or party function.

Hi there,

something try and check is your network connection and specifically the NAT. In some combinations your could experience issues with certain people depending on the state of your NAT.

Your friend might need to check that too.
