Xbox Live party chat suspended

I was playing apex legends earlier today. It was the last 3 squads and the other two were teaming against us. I reported both players through Xbox because I cannot in-game, but before I messaged them telling them I was doing so. I am confused on why I
am being suspended for trying to report people cheating in the game.

Thank you very much for bringing this issue to our attention. We're sorry to hear about the account suspension. The moderators, ambassadors and volunteer moderators do not have the ability to manage enforcement actions on an account.
If the suspension is longer than 24 hours, we recommend to appeal the decision made by the enforcement team. This can be done by submitting a
case review. The decisions are made and upheld by the enforcement team. We hope this helps!

Party chat is still chat over Live. So you can still get suspended for something you say while talking to your friend.

Rep has nothing to do with suspensions.

The reason for not adding game/party chat on to clips is simple. They are loaded up on to live and if the game/party chat violates the code of conduct, you can if reported get suspended. Thrre are also laws around recording othrr people without consent.
So it's like this to keep you all safe.

sorry ii did type what happened I have been suspended of my xbox live party chat for been abusive but I wasn't on my account my brother in law was without permission and I come on to chat to my mates n it wont let me

You may have been in game chat while you where in an Xbox Live Party. Check the features in your party settings to make sure you are in Xbox Live Party chat and not in game chat.
