    Xbox Live Party Chat Issue


    I've been using my mobile hotpsot for almost 2 years playing online games and chatting with friends almost daily.

    With no issues whatsoever.

    I just started having issues with my connection as of this week.

    -Strict or moderate NAT type at all times.

    -Upnp Not successful.

    -Says "All services are available".

    I can't join or create party chats, it just boots me out of the party with an error code after about 1 minute every time.

    I can play online relatively fine, but party chats just don't work at all.

    Feels like I've tried almost everything I can find to fix this issue. I'm starting to think my mobile hotspot just doesn't work anymore.

    (Just got a new phone and Xbox, Samsung S21 FE & Series X)

    Anyone able to help with this issue?

    Sorry to hear about your Party Chat issue. Is your DeadCrushader Gamertag the one having an issue with Party Chat? Party Chat is a feature of an Xbox LIVE Gold subscription, so your free account would need to upgrade to take advantage of that feature.

    Troubleshoot problems with Xbox LIVE chat    . Let us know if the troubleshooting steps there help you.

    No In-Game chat while using Xbox Companion App

    Hi Austin,

    You can try contacting the game developers for more information about their in-game chat issues, but as I said previously, Xbox Live party chats effectively mutes in-game chat from being heard in the party. If you are recording the gameplay from your Xbox,
    the streaming program will not pick up in-game chat because in-game chat cannot be heard when in an Xbox Live party. In an Xbox Live party, you will not be able to hear other players in the game lobby unless you invite those player into the party. Other players
    will also not be able to hear you in-game while you are in an Xbox Live party. This is by design and not an issue and I don't think there is a setting to change that. You can test this by trying another communication program like Discord.

    It seems to be Xbox Live service as the are online issues all over from party chats to friend feeds and even sending party/game invites.
