Xbox live parties and online services not working

Xbox live will not allow me to join friends parties or allow me to join the online services of games, I was playing in the morning and everything was fine, come back in the afternoon and it is not working

can't Sign into Live even with good connection. error 0x87DD000F

I was able to sign in online but when testing my multiplayer connection, it says some xbox live services are down, like the basic services of connecting to others online, joining parties, sending messages. So how is xbox live up but the core services of
it are down? Fix it xbox

parties stop working

for the last several nights xbox live parties stop working around 1am cst. this is not an issue on my side, this is affecting everyone on my friends list and apparently a lot of people nationwide according to service tracking websites. can you guys get your
s$%^ together and make xbl work properly? please? i mean we are paying for this and parties aren't working.

NAT is wide open. I have switched to a third party online service for the evening. thank you for your help. I will try back later this weekend to see if Xbox live is working for online gaming.

It seems to be Xbox Live service as the are online issues all over from party chats to friend feeds and even sending party/game invites.

Are you able to play online multiplayer?

Xbox Live is the Xbox online service that provides multiple online features, like Xbox Marketplace downloads, sending text messages to other Xbox Live members, keeping track and storing your Gamertag achievements, and so on.

Only online multiplayer and party voice chat require you to have a paid Xbox Live GOLD membership.

So if you didn't pay for your Xbox Live Gold membership, you still have access to Xbox Live, only without the Multiplayer and Party chat features.
