    Xbox Live Packet Loss


    I am continuously getting packet loss warnings in-game on Xbox Live (On Call of Duty: Modern Warfare this appears as orange boxes at the left side of the screen). When I get these warnings the game usually lags and my bullets don't register as effectively.
    This happens whether I have crossplay enabled or not.

    My Network Statistics are as follows: (Wired Connection)

    Download Speed - 36.46 Mbps

    Upload Speed - 8.44 Mbps

    Packet Loss - 1%

    MTU - 1480

    Latency - 22ms

    My Nat Type is Open but when I go onto Modern Warfare it says that it is Moderate.

    Is there any way to improve my connection and get rid of these packet loss warnings?

    Xbox One HIGH Packet loss

    In XBOX One, if you had no problems before and it was working, then likely the high packet loss is solely a problem in the console. I have a business class connection for example-- 0% packet loss, and about 10-12ms on any server . Yesterday, my XBOX one
    (plugged into the same network, in the same was as every other server here-- wired, not wireless) was 0% @ 73ms. Today, it's 78% packet loss at 83ms, while the server next to it is 0% packet loss @ 10-12ms.

    But today, I can't login due to xbox live core signup issues-- which tells me the packet loss indicator is tied to 'phone home' or some other mechanism tied to their core. The high packet loss value is therefore erroneous.

    Some have indicated they have 100% packet loss but games are playing, indicating the packet loss % may be incorrect. Who knows, same thing here but unable to log into live. Merry Christmas!!!

    Same issue. 100% Packet loss. No packet loss from my PC. Wireless connection via my Xbox one. Has been working fine just 10 hours ago. Tried it today: 100% packet loss.

    @Daft he is not talking about his ping he is talking about 100% packet loss showing through the connection test which makes no difference where the server is located, and does indeed indicate a problem.

    The packet loss is rather due to the current issues with xbox live or the recent update.
