    XBOX Live Outage.. ETA??


    Hello Xbox Team,

    I wanted to inquire as to a possible ETA for the xbox live platform to be fully operational again. This seems to have been down since April 2 and it is affecting my ability to basically play anything on my xbox. I own games such as Halo, COD, Titanfall,
    etc... all of which "freeze" upon starting them up. This even happens with arcade games like minecraft and monopoly. In fact, every single game that requires a check-in via web (not just those that are multiplayer) will not start. In truth, this is quite disheartening
    and honestly - a bit unacceptable for those of us that pour thousands of dollars into the xbox platform.

    Anyway - not meant to be a rant but an honest question about the status of getting this platform up for those of us that rely on it.

    XBOX Live Outage.. ETA??

    Hi inzo21,

    Xbox Live services for games are currently all fully operational.

    The current service outage lies with TV, Music and Video only. [Mod Removed]

    In terms of games freezing - can I just double check, is this for Xbox One?

    If so - please go to Settings (press the 3 lines button on your controller, then Settings), then go to Disc & Blu-Ray, then select Clear Persistent Storage.

    Finally, hold your finger over the power button for exactly 15 seconds. Your console will fully shut-down. After, please turn it back on and try opening a game.

    Let me know if you need further support.

    THANK YOU SO MUCH! That worked!

    To confirm for those with similar issues, I do have the Xbox One and cleared the BR storage and did a hard reset of the box. After that, I also applied the latest update for XB1 and everything seems to work now (as far as game content is concerned).

    I really appreciate the fast response and help. Have a great afternoon!

    For some reason it says I can’t connect to Xbox live when I try to play black ops 2

    Xbox Live for the Xbox 360 is currently suffering an outage at the moment. No ETA on when it will be fixed.
