xbox live on wrong gamertag

hi guys,

I have Xbox Live Gold 12 months on an incorrect gamertag unlocked , how can I now be transferred to the right ?
Please reply , unfortunately , neither the chat nor the telephone support accessible .

DLC won't work unless connected to the net?!

...AND to the Xbox360 it was purchased on, as drskhaled mentioned above. Just to be clear.

Two separate licences. Either case must apply before it'll work; on the console that purchased it - no connection to Xbox Live required; by the GamerTag that purchased it - connection to Xbox Live required.

Gamertag Association to Microsoft Account

The gamertag that is associated with my microsoft account is wrong and i cant seem to change it. On xbox live my gamertag is correct but the email is wrong. how do I get microsoft mt correct information? Should I re-sign up for an xbox live account on
PC using my correct gamertag and email? thanks

Hello,

It's not possible to have the same e-mail associated with two Xbox LIVE Gamertags. If you have access to POOLPEOPLEx2 on your console then you should be able to find out what e-mail address is associated with that gamertag.

Please go to the Xbox 360 Dashboard (make sure you're signed into POOLPEOPLEx2) then go to Settings > Account > 3rd Tab (Account Information) > Account Security > Look to the right and you'll see the e-mail that's associated with the account. Please make sure
you look at the e-mail very carefully and then go to Xbox.com and sign in using that e-mail and password.

If you do not know the e-mail associated with the account then you will need to
contact phone support.

There's nothing wrong with the gamertag system. If your trying to take a gamertag like Mister Gwyther said there's many services that user gamertags it's not just XBOX LIVE. You'll need to come up with a unique gamertag or try adding numbers to the one that
you want.

Sorry but you have been given the wrong info.You cannot request for a gamertag to be freed up.

Gamertags are used on other services,not just xbox live so if it says the tag is unavailable then there's nothing you can do,you will need to choose another gamertag.

This has nothing to do with my gamertag since I don't want to move or switch gamertags, this has to do with my primary email adress being on the wrong xbox live account and me not being able to switch it to my primary xbox account, but thanks anyway ^^
