    Xbox Live on a VPN


    I can't seem to get my VPN connection to work with my Xbox One when it used to work with the Xbox 360. It's the same setup as I had before but now even when I get my xbox online it says my home IP. Does anyone have a fix or way they get theirs onto Xbox
    Live?

    I'm pretty sure the use of a VPN is not allowed on Xbox Live

    Xbox Live connection issues using Asus router only

    UPDATE:

    So a strange thing I've noticed - If I use a VPN on the Asus router, xbox live connects fine. And then I can disconnect the VPN and continue using my xbox with xbox live services (e.g. multiplayer games, party chat) as normal, until I restart the xbox.

    I was able to find Ample Solutions and Instructions on how to Connect your Xbox One through a VPN Network.

    You may want to Google or YouTube for those solutions.

    You have one option. Make VPN the region where XBOX LIVE is supported. Set up your Xbox to the region on which the VPN is, and then you will have Xbox Live available.
    Use of a VPN is a violation of the terms of service and can risk being banned.

    Is that VPN configured in the same region / country that your Xbox Live account ?

    Had this problem in the past but with the VPN I was in a different country and couldn't use live features
