XBOX LIVE NOT WORKING

Has anyone else had this where paid for xbox live for $79.99 was actually more interested in the game deals then playing others online as have 360.

Money went out and the xbox live never worked.

Spent ages and ages online with support who had no idea and told me that a specialist will get in touch each time as they didn't know what was going on.

Made ,me format machine and restart up- no avail.

They kept me on the hook so long that when requested refund as it appeared no one knew what was going on they said it was past time they could do this.

Just frustrating that no one knows what is going on and never got back to me and couldn't get it going regardless of how long I spent online with their "technical experts".

Recommend that anyone who thinking of buying live save their money.

I will be in future and when go for upgrade this year going the sony way as they couldn't make it work or make it right and I was left at a loss of money.

Not even credit to my account.

These guys are just after money- don't waste it as wont help you if it doesn't go right.

Can't connect to Live

Looks like live is having issues.

Was it the multiplayer portion that didn't work or did you Xbox just never connect to the internet?

 

Connected to internet fine.

Able to buy a game or download stuff- just the xbox live subscription never went on account kept on prompting to buy again... despite it being on their records as I had one- just never actually got it merged or added to my profile.

In situations regarding any account query, I always recommend calling in, or using the call back service, rather than the online live chat. The issue would have honestly, been dealt with faster.

Have had several cases- case numbers called in several times.... submitted several callbacks.

Was told senior specialists looking into it with no avail.

Hours and hours spent trying to deal with it.

Dealt with numerous people on chat/phone tech support and via email.

So no you are wrong Mr Ambassador ringing up has not done anything except wasted my time and left me with promises of people looking into it and getting back; just never doing it. Been three months now.

So this might sound frustrated but at wits end and just letting others to know don't do what I did and avoid dealing with them.

I've been having the same issue with Live for a few months (everything else works just fine, just unable to access 360 games/content)...was told that "senior support" would do a follow up after 24 hours and after reviewing my account/profile...that was last
week. When I mentioned that my husband and kids' accounts didn't have the issue, that's when my case was created and still no word back from anyone. It's frustrating because I just purchased a couple 360 games since they were discounted...should've known better!

Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone has gotten back with you on your issue or if there was any type of solution?

I went through the typical troubleshooting methods, but since it is only 360/Live content that I get disconnected from, I'm wondering if there is a bug or something going on with my 360/Live account. Do you know of any other way that I could check that because
I am at the point of just creating a brand new account, email, etc.

Any tips or advice would be appreciated.

Sorry for the issue with Xbox Live. Sometimes it can take a while. As in up to a month. They have to investigate what is going on, the cause of it, and how to prevent it in the future. We recommend to keep replying to the emails, and ask for a call back
so you can get an update. This is most likely an issue with the profiles in question, and they need to investigate them. I have had this happen in past with my son's profile. It took month and a half to get fixed.
