Xbox live not working with backwards compatible games

I recently bought a 3 month xbox live membership and it works with xbox one games and the free month game downloads but xbox 360 games seem to think that I'm not connected to xbox live and i cant play games such as battlefield 3.
is there an easy fix to this problem?

backwards compatibility of xbox 360 games on xbox one on disc

I got loads of xbox 360 games on cd rom disc and they are not working for backwards compatibility even though these games are on the official list of backwards compatible games. What is wrong? I read online that xbox 360 games on disc are also supposed
to be backwards compatible with xbox one.

Bioshock Infinite is not being recognized as compatible

Everything is working on my Xbox One, it recognizes all the Xbox One game discs I put in, and other Backwards Compatible 360 games, however, when I put in the disc for Bioshock Infinite, it says that the game is not compatible with Xbox One, despite it being
on the list for backwards compatible games. Not quite sure what to do.

I have the same problem. It started a month ago when I tried to play a couple 360 games on my XBOX One but just assumed there was some issue going on with the service. This weekend we wanted to try playing some older games again but the same issue kept
us from it. I looked into it more and tried a few things but nothing helped. I even tried to delete the 360 profile data from XBOX One but now when I load up a 360 game and it wants to download my profile but can not do to this error with the connection.

At a loss since I play tons of stuff online through XBOX Live on the One.

The One store/website have never been updated to work with the currency system for backwards compatible content. The only way to purchase backwards compatible games with the funds on your account is through a 360 console.

Not all games are backwards compatible. If the game is not listed here it won't work. Backwards compatible games are being added all the time, but backwards
compatibility is up to the publisher. So not all games will be made compatible.
