    Xbox live not working even though I've purchased it


    I purchased a three month Xbox live card, however when I try to use it within any game, it brings me to a screen to buy more. There is no error code, the games just don't recognize my live membership

    Xbox gold not working even though it says it is

    My Xbox live gold just got renewed I can still buy games with gold for free like a I always have been able to but I can't play online games any idea how to fix this?

    And it does say that I am subscribed to it and it expires next year.

    Hey, Sorel M! If you're having an issue redeeming your prepaid card, please post up a new thread detailing the error message you get when you try to. This thread is kind of old and doesn't really pertain to your issue.

    I've just discovered this from another Xbox Live Ambassador. The car is available in the store. Even though you redeemed the code you still have to purchase the car in game for I believe 1.4 million credits.

    When you get a chance, let's try signing out of the console then sign back in. Are you still being prompted to purchase Xbox Live Gold after doing so?

    Live membership not sharing with accounts on same console.

    Hey Ben,

    I've checked and my service is active, no problems there.

    I've also visited the devices page and it does state that our "Living Room" Xbox is the "Home" Xbox.

    When another account is signed in to the Xbox, they are redirected to the Xbox store to purchase a membership, even though all the above seems to be in order.

    Any other suggestions?
