Xbox live not Working correctly

On my xbox 360 when try to play online on halo 4 swat or any game mode it goes to find players and 2 to 5 minutes later it finds them then it says they have left the lobby. Other times it says I have been disconnected from xbox live, but I can go to the
store from halo and connect. Other times Halo 4 changes me to xbox 360 network settings and when I change back to xbox live to changes back to xbox 360 setting.

I have a similar issue with all my online games, for instance COD Black OPS I go pick a game mode and it takes 2 - 5 minutes to find a lobby and then when I get a game going it disconnect me form the lobby(not xbox live). Sometimes when I go pick a game
mode it is darkened out were I cant pick it.

On both halo and COD i have noticed that the lobby address is only three numbers and some have nagitve numbers and sometimes 4 but none of them work.

Steps taken to solve issue with no susses:

1) I have port forward all ports listed on xbox website on my router. I do have a open nat type

2) re downloaded profile and cleared storage cache and deleted crupeted files

3)Reastared router and xbox multiple times

4)checked status on xbox website

5)Ran speed tests with download speeds 4-9 mbs, upload 0.5 - 2 (upload speed has always been low with no issue in the past)

6) Connecting in different ports of router, I have no issues on my pc, Xbox one, or any other network deceives. Its not my bandwidth, I have tried use only my xbox 360 plugged in.

7)I still have 70GB of storage free and my xbox live will expire on the 16th of June, but I will renew before it expires, so that should not be the cause.

Is there something else I can try?

Xbox not working correctly

Hey Sean The Awe3som,

I would give the following a try:

If you can navigate through the Dash try to Reset the Console on there, as explained here: Reset Xbox One Console to Factory Defaults
, select the option to "Keep your Games and apps".

If you can reach that and selected the option and the Dashboard goes just back to the previous screen, turn off the Xbox by holding the Xbox Button until it shuts off, unplug it for 2 mins from Power. replug and restart. It should start the Reset after that
then.

If you cant navigate the Dash and get to that point or the reset wont start in the way above do the following:

- Power off your console

- Unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

- Wait 30 seconds, then plug the power cord back in.

- Press and hold the BIND button (Xbox One: located on the left side of the console, Xbox One S: located on the front below the power button) and the EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the Xbox button on the console.

- Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

- The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

- On the Troubleshooter select "Reset" and when asked select the option to "Keep your Games and Apps".

In both cases make sure you know your Email / Password combination of your Account before you do the Reset.

In most cases the Reset corrects issues like that.

.5 upload is atrocious. What's your latency on the Xbox 360? What's the speedtest.net test results? Honestly, if everything is hooked up right and it's doing this, it's Xbox Live. It's been busted all year. Not much you can do aside from calling Microsoft
and complaining.
