Xbox live not recognizing Gold Subcriptino

My xbox live account is not recognizing my Gold subscription. I have called into support and they were unable to fix the issue and said to try calling back in later as this may be an emerging issue that they don't have a solution for. I had this this same
issue 2 months ago and support was able to restore services by having me do a console reset. This time around, none of the support suggestions are correcting the problem and I cannot play game on live.

Are you still having issues with your Xbox One not recognizing that you're an Xbox Live Gold member? Your account currently shows being a Gold member, so hopefully that reflects with your console now.

Yep. I have had my existing gold subscription removed and then re-added with help from tech support, deleted my profile from the xbox, unplugged my router and console to reboot, power-cycled several time, and lastly I've done a console reset. All proposed
solutions have been attempted several times and they have not corrected the problem. I did start a new chat with support, but they ran me through all of the same things that I have already done. Then I was told that this is a strange situation and that I should
contact support again in a day to see if there is a new resolution. No help so far!

Promotional subscriptions are not eligible for Rewards, as stated in our FAQ:

—My Xbox Live Rewards account is not recognizing my Xbox Live Gold membership. What should I do?

Xbox Live Rewards can only recognize paid monthly or yearly standard, non-promotional Xbox Live Gold memberships. If you have a different type of membership, we may not be able to recognize you as an Xbox Live Rewards Gold member.

After reviewing your account, your Gold subscription for the last three months was a promotional, discounted subscription. As mentioned in the FAQ, promotional subscriptions are not eligible for Rewards:

We see that you are not receiving Gold Status this month due to your subscription being a promotional Gold subscription for 1 month. Promotional subscriptions are not eligible for Rewards, so your free 1 month is not eligible. From our FAQ:
