Xbox Live not functioning properly

recently I bought master chief collection on steam, launched the game and signed into my microsoft/xbox account that I use

I tried to go to online and play co-op campaign with a friend of mine and got this

Why does this show up? What does it mean to "have the correct Xbox Live account"?
Also, I have turned off family settings on my windows 10 ( and i tried doing so on Microsoft but it was very unclear whether I was in a family or not and where the settings were ) , so why does this happen?

I tried searching the solution for this online, but there are no results or anything that could assist me.

( Also, I noticed that multiplayer doesn't properly function on steam when connecting to my xbox account on here and Halo Infinite, unless I have the said game downloaded on the Xbox app itself. )

I would appreciate a response that would resolve this issue soon, because this quite frankly is a bit irritating for both me and my friends who are waiting on me.

Sign in with your account at Xbox.com, then click your profile icon in the top right of the page.

- From the dropdown click the three dots and then Xbox Settings.

-That will take you to a page that has your Privacy & Online Safety Settings, from there you can toggle everything to 'Allow'.

I'd contact the console's live support for this. It appears to be a settings issue with the XBox itself since the drive functions properly.

Hello Maxariot,

As long as you had a properly functioning internet connection then your game saves should be saved/synced to the Xbox Live cloud.

Hi there! The Xbox One will be region free for single player games. I'm afraid that Jordan is not a supported LIVE region though, so we can't guarantee that all aspects of LIVE will function properly.
