Xbox Live not connecting... Again.

Every time I try to join a part start a part or even try to play any of my games online on my xbox one, it tells me I have to purchase gold. When I put in the code for the prepaid card mind you I just recently subscribe to a year, it tells me that I already
have gold. So I try to play online again and it tells me I need gold. This has gone on for a few weeks now and none of my friends has this problem. Every time I try to call Im put on a waiting list. I heard the servers were recently hacked of whatever the
situation was but this has gone on for too long. I would like for you to fix this problem or give me my money back microsoft. Someone please help.

 

I have the same problem as ChupaMiPlatano. Worked fine yesterday,any tips on how to solve this?

 

I have powered down the xbox holding the button for 10 seconds, then unplugged everything (router, modem, ONT) both at the wall and from the back of each unit and left it overnight. Plugged everything back in and powered on the xbox once the router had restarted.
Internet connection fine (92.8Mbps down, 16+ up) and 0% packet loss but still no xbox live. Multiplayer test also checks out and NAT settings are good.

No other errors, just won't sign in to xbox live.

 

And here I thought I was the only one. Pay attention to your customers Microsoft. I tried telling these idiots rebooting my system isn't the answer I do it everyday. If it was the ports on my router why does everything else I own work perfectly fine. I have
no issue with live when I buy a game or download it, but trying to play a game is a different story. I feel like an idiot for buying this system after all the bull with 360. Never again will I buy a Microsoft product.

 

Tried again this evening... still no xbox live. Reset, unplugged, all that (futile)

Finally spoke to someone useful (Joey) on support chat. He gave me these instructions...

"Go to Settings >> Select Disc & Blu-ray >> Persistent storage >> Clear persistent storage >> Press back >> Select Network >> Advance settings >> Alternate mac >> Clear >> Restart."

Hey presto! XBL is back... Why couldn't Mister Quim or one of the other muppets on here post that instead of telling us to reset and unplug constantly!!
