Xbox Live not connecting... Again.

As usual, network tests are all successful but no xbox live. Tiresome. You locked my previous thread - http://forums.xbox.com/xbox_forums/xbox_support/xbox_one_support/f/4267/t/1881747.aspx?pi7962=1 - despite your one lonely solution of powering off, unplugging
and restarting not working at all (because the problem has entirely nothing to do with the hardware at our end!).

You're going to need to start refunding memberships soon because this just isn't good enough for a paid service.

Error Code: 807b01f7 "some xbox live content is temporarily unavailable"

Because of the issue with the service, certain parts of live were not updating. By the time Xbox live comes back online, your level should be restored. Try connecting to Xbox Live again, some users have had success with connecting.

totally agree same thing is happening with me there's nothing wrong with my internet connection , laptops ipads all work fine it's just the crappy xboxone , seriously starting to regret buying one it's been a waste of time since christmas my lad is gutted
because it was his christmas present that he was looking forward to, the download/upload and ping are fine but it says 100%packet loss and won't let me connect to xbox live , to put it simply it's just not acceptable and yes a refund for the service should
be an option that should definatley be considered

 

Omg thank you for ur post. I was starting to think i was the only one. Not only give me my membership refund, how about my Xbox one refund. Never had this much problems with360. Omg please fix this peice of crap.

 

You're definitely not alone! Lots of people having the same issue. I'm presuming it's the well-publicised weakness of their servers against hackers but who knows. Whatever the root cause it's not-acceptable for a paid service. Luckily I now own a game that
I can play offline but really disappointed the number of times I've been unable to play Destiny.

 

as soon as it's boxed up i'll be taking back for a full refund because now it won't do a thing apart from putting a message on the screen saying that there's a hardware fault and i should return it to where i got it from for repair , YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING
ME MICROSOFT , how do you dare to even consider putting these pieces are crap in retail outlets for sale to the public , the only thing they're good for is a door stop and not very good at that because they're that big and bulky they'd probably get in the
way and trip someone up , think i'll get an old atari we'll get more fun out of that and it'll be a *** site more reliable than this piece of expensive dog turd that i bought

 

Still no xbox live 26 hours later... My last night of gaming before I'm back of work. That sucks. You owe me Microsoft.

 

Just to top things off I got kicked out of my profile and couldn't sign back in to that either... So no offline games even. Really disappointed. Expensive frickin' paperweight.

 

At 96 hours plus with no connection here. According to downdetector.com that monitors stuff like this it is all over the eastern US. NY, Philly, Baltimore, etc are all reporting outages. Both my Xbox One and my 360 are plugged into the same router sitting
less than six inches from each other and the Xbox One will not connect but the 360 works just fine until I try to do anything that requires an actual service from Xbox Live. On the 360 I can watch HD video from Amazon or Netflix but the Xbox One won't even
show a connection. This started after the hack and at first I had to reset the connection, shut off the box, set up the connection again and then restart the box and then I could connect until the connection would just randomly drop out.

 

I just woke up and now I cant connect to XBL WTF MS I was on it early today

 

Even though I can sign in CoDAW is lagging really hard for me. Everything else seems to work fairly well. I can watch Netflix and other videos. I can see my friends list. I ran a network test and all the numbers are where they normally are but when I play
CoDAW I get really bad lag spikes. I've tried all the troubleshooting methods that Microsoft has said to try. Everything else on my network is working just fine. It has to be somewhere on their end. I understand that Xbox Live isn't going to be up 100% of
the time because it's a huge network and things will go wrong but I haven't been able to play a good game of CoD with no lag since Christmas Day and that was 9 days ago. I renewed with 1 month of Live a couple days before Christmas so I could play and so far
I got maybe 1 good game in. So that money I paid for a month so far is a waste. Last night I was thinking about just selling the Xbox off and using that money to get more Steam games and upgrade my video card again. [tagCMASTERRACE]!

 

COD lags the least for me...it was 2K that was unplayable for me...I was able to get online in GTA without a problem but i literally couldnt even get past the 2K menus sometimes. Things looking better today

I will continue to post and I hope all others do the same. Funny, but once you start get a couple of people replying that support your complaint and agree that we are getting the short end of the stick. They lock it out/ or remove it entirely.

Thank gosh I'm not the only one with issue. Does anyone from Microsoft even check these forums to get it fixed. Way to costly to not have it work. See why Playstation is better. FREE INTERNET access. Not this *** that doesn't work. some Christmas present
for my kid. I WANT MY MONEY BACK! !!! Also why is it you have to have a credit card on file.
