    Xbox live not appearing online and invites not working


    It's been six months and after many phone calls still can't fix my issue, my gamertag joel guy 1 doesn't display online to any of my friends, we have troubleshooted all issues making sure I'm not appearing offline I'm settings etc and I cannot get invited
    to games as they don't have the option to do so

    Are you appearing offline? You have to make sure you are appearing online. This might be the reason why it's not working.

    Notifications and invites not appearing

    I stopped receiving invites for parties and games I can still send invites that work but if another user sends me an invite I don't receive anything. I checked my NAT type and it's open so it's some other issue can somebody please help? Thank you in advance.

    Does appearing offline affect people receiving your party invites?

    Reset router and Xbox. Can receive invites and have sent invites. I'm just interested in whether appearing offline or online has any affect on Xbox party invites.

    How do i play with friends? Me and my friends always appear offline. Can't send messages to each other, can't send game invites.

    That is how the Appear Offline works by design. So you don't get unwanted pop ups.

    The only way you can send a game invite to your friend is if he is appearing online and vice versa.

    Xbox one s issue with friends list

    There is nothing you can do, sadly. Just xbox having issues with the server. Although, xbox app normally works, so you can check your friend list from there and even they are not appearing online, you can still shoot invites :)
