Xbox live not active for one account but active for wife

So here is the issue, on my 360 if my wife is signed in she has access to Xbox live. As of last night when I was signed in under my account I was signed into Xbox live. When you go to account management it shows her having Xbox gold and mine does not.
However on the Xbox one my account works just fine. I can't figure out what has changed since last night that has not allowed me to play games on the 360 unless I am signed in as her but can play on the Xbox one just fine? Any help would be appreciated.

Xbox live gold paid not working

I have had £14.99 taken from my bank card on 28th March 2018 for xbox live gold for my son.

My son has 2 xbox accounts (one on the 360 and one on the xbox 1) however both are saying xbox live gold is not active.

Can someone please tell me why I have paid £14.99 and xbox live gold isn't active on either account?

Also is there a way for him to have the one account for both consoles as I am not prepared to pay for xbox live gold on both?

There is currently a system wide problem with purchased or downloaded content. Keep an eye on the Xbox Live Status page for
any updates on the situation.

This weekend has been a free gold weekend. So you didn't need to have gold to play online on either the 360 or the One. It looks like it has ended early, but that would be the reason.

 

That shouldn't matter, I have a gold subscription and therefore should be able to use my account on both devices. My gamer tag on the 360 shows no subscription but does show one on the Xbox one. As stated above, my wife's account shows the gold subscription
active on the 360 as we share devices, which it should.

So the question remains, why is all of a sudden my account won't work on the 360?

 

You don't show as having gold here, so you may want to check your subscription at
Sign in to your Microsoft account. If it does show you have a current subscription, you would need to try contacting support. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're jn the US/Canada or

Gold subscriptions can be shared on the One, but not the 360. So if your wife has the One set as her Home console, you would be sharing her gold there, but you need your own subscription for the 360.

 

Thanks for your help. I think you got it as it seems when I renewed my gold it went under her gamer tag on the one console, not sure how this happened. Could it be that her account is the first one on the one? The one is both our main Xbox. When I renew
my gold is there a way to make sure it goes under my tag and not hers?

Just definitely make sure you're signed into your account when you renew.
