Xbox live network issue

I have a xbox 360. I am unable to connect to xbox live. When running the live connection test, it shows that live is connected, yet it shows a service alert. Looking on xbox website, there are no service issues.

I have reset my xbox and cleared the network cache, nothing helps.

I just got the xbox one and am trying to upload a save from Minecraft 360 to it. Bought gold just for it. I redeemed it yesterday. After talking to everyone at xbox i was told they are updating their system. Who knows when itll be fixed. Probably by the
time it has a shotgun sized hole in it.
