xbox live network constantly connects and disconnects...

I've been bouncing in and out of connection to xbox live randomly for the past week. I've tried EVERYTHING offered to help and none of it works at all. NONE. I don't know what else to do on my end here. i'm connected and disconnected
at the same time. it says my network isn't setup(it shows it is setup at the same time) then it says it "can't find IP address"(but everything is connected) then i'm connected again (and the wheel of
[Edit - Translation] spins again)

I really hope someone can cut the [Edit - Translation] and actually help me here rather than keep telling me to do the same

I'm literally sitting here watching my dashboard go in and out of xbox live as I type this.

Something is wrong and it's clearly not on my end...

I don't even know right category because none of this makes any sense.

Thanks for posting here on the Xbox forums. I would like to give you some troubleshooting steps that you haven't tried out yet, but you have not told us everything you have tried already. In order to avoid repetitive steps, let us know these details.

First thing first, Can you let us know What type of Xbox console you are on? Xbox 360, One original, One S or One X. Let us know what troubleshooting you have tried out as well.

From the information you have given us so far, I can recommend testing your console out on a different network. A hotspot could work for this, but a different home network would be best.

If the console works fine on a different network, then we would need to troubleshoot your network.

It sounds like you have a network problem,but you didn't mention if you connect console wired or WiFi to your router.

Either way you should shutdown both the router, console and TV then in this order...

Turn on the router and wait till it is fully operational before turning on TV then the console last of all.

well, I doesn't work anymore so now what?

I want my connection to work and I can't stay signed in to do anything.

I want this fixed. not another band aid.

Not sure how you are connecting to your network (wireless or wired).

Try it with an calble (wired) and see how that goes.

Have you tried disconnecting your router, waiting 30 seconds then reconnecting again?
