Xbox live "needs renewing"

so about 10 m ago i bought xbox live for 1 month, i finish up paying and it says my subscription needs renewing, so i go onto the microsoft website and go onto my subscriptions, nothing needs renewing, I can't see the "renew" annywhere on my xbox live membership,
when ever i try to do anything that requires xbox live it says i need to bring my subscription up to date, i have tried redownloading my profile but that doesn't work, can anyone help?

XBox Live Rewards Not showing.

my reward points for monthy subsriptions are not being added to my xbox live rewards amount since 2014 when i last used my xbox 360 . i have a xbox one now and been getting live gold subs for the last 6 months so microsoft need to sort this out username

As of July 1, 2014, there are no offers to receive credits for renewing gold.

Unless something drastically changes, I actually don't plan on renewing my Xbox LIVE Gold membership in about a year's time. It amuses me that becoming a Free Member will subject me to less ads.

Try removing your profile from the console and doing a hard reset on your console. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the
power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational reload your profile and test.

I renewed my xbox live yesterday. Says I still need to renew it. I can check my subscriptions and it says that it has been renewed, but my console won't accept it for some reason.

If his xbox is the Home Xbox, you will only have live on that Xbox if the live is in his name.

yes I also belive that you may need to renew your xbox live gold

There is a possibility that the auto renewal of your Xbox Live subscription is currently activated and you need to turn it off before the subscription expires so that it will not auto renew and for you not to be automatically charge.
