Xbox live Mw2 2009 no longer finding games

I have been playing Modern Warfare 2 2009 on the Xbox one for the last 3 weeks with no issues finding matches now all of a sudden I keep getting either a message saying “communication with Xbox live servers was interrupted” or “Unable to join game session” then I get booted back to the matchmaking menu. I’ve performed a power cycle which hasn’t changed anything, please help ! Thank you

Just came out of nowhere hey, fingers crossed they will receive enough complaints and do something about it! Have you tried any of the older COD games that Microsoft had them fix the servers for ? Would be interesting if it happened to all of them, wouldn’t be surprised if they sabotaged them in order to focus everybody’s attention on MW3

Same issues here with me and my friends. Unfortunately they’ve completely gotten rid of the MW2 (2009) support section on their website. I just went to their twitter and said something about it, but I doubt anyone actually sees it (especially considering I had to make a new twitter account to do so haha)
