Xbox Live Moderate NAT Issues

Hello, I am able to connect xbox live and play almost always but I always have trouble joining my friends parties and even talking to them due to NAT issues. I'm not too familiar with the specifics of fixing this, but its extremely bothersome because it
even gets to the point where I am kicked offline and have to sign back in. I just want this fixed so could I please have some help. Also I'm not entirely sure what all information is needed but here is all i know for now.

I have a Scientific Atlanta Comcast Cable Modem

DPC2100 Series

S/N 203242672

MAC 001692466A60

My router is a Linksys WRT160N v2

MAC 00236949F11D

problem with xbox live.connected.than disconnected,live partyand private chatt doesnot work.all this after buying a new 360 250 gb and reoploading my gamertag

Thanks for providing us with the most essential of information, your networking equipment. This should speed up the pace, and hopefully, have you up and running under normal conditions.

Can you start by making sure your router is up-to-date with the latest version of firmware. It seems that Linksys no longer support an up-to-date versions of firmware through their website, try and see if there's any available update through your router's
web-utility interface.

If you connect your console with a wireless solution, try switch to a wired solution (if this is possible).

Are you currently having UPnP, Port Forwarding, or DMZ activated on your router?

How about your console, is your console set to obtain IP settings automatic through the DHCP server, or have you manually configured your Xbox network settings as static?

Make sure your router don't have Block/Filter Anonymous Internet Requests, and DoS flood protection enabled. If present, make sure both of these are disabled.
