Xbox Live - microphone audio repeatedly freezing

I am regularly loosing the speech on the headset on my Xbox 360 when playing FiFA14 and other games. I can hear my friends talking through the headset but they cannot hear me when I speak. The happens a number of times a day. To resolve the problem I
have to switch off the Xbox and switch it back on and then everything works fine for maybe an hour or so, before it happens again.

Initially I though there was an issue with my wired Turtle Beach headset and I purchased a new Turtle Beach headset (wireless) but the exact same thing is happening on both.

Would appreciate any help that can be given - very frustrating !!!

Problem with an otherwise functional microphone chat in world of tanks

When you turn off the remote control functions including audio chat microphone. After connecting the wireless controller immediately stops working chat microphone and audio functions only. when you disconnect the remote control, microphone chat works again.

Hey Jasserman!

From my experiences, if you take the battery's out of the controller and put them back in, it fixes it. If that doesn't work, try blowing into the mic hole.
