Xbox Live messages

So I don't get some of my messages from xbox live not like friends on xbox but the xbox live that sends you offers and some times xbox credits to spend and yesterday it popped up on my xbox message from xbox live and I checked it this morning and I have
no messages from them on xbox or on the xbox app and yesterday around the same time my girlfriend got a message from xbox live and it gave her 10 dollars for black Friday spending so I think that is sent me the 10$ but I cant see the message as I said it popped
up on my screen message from xboxlive but I have no recent messages from them and this is not the first time this has happened if you know whats going on plz help

Still havent received the Gears codes for 1/2/3

They message you the codes through xbox live.

 

This may be a derp question but: How do I download Gears 2, 3 and Judgement?

Look in your Xbox Live messages on your Xbox One people!!!

 

Hey there have you already tried to power cycle the console??? And also, did you check your messages from the web page too??

Paul from the Xbox Forums Team here to assist, what I recommend doing for both you and your friend is to log in at
Microsoft's Website
and check both your balance and order history. Once viewing the accounts order history you should be able to see the charge and who it was gifted too. If it was gifted to your friend they should see it applied to their account. I hope this information helps.

Sorry to hear that you're not getting all the messages that you believe that you think you should get.

If these are promotional messages, not everyone gets free codes and whatnot there are factors that determine your eligibility. You can also check the email that is your primary alias and see if you got any offers there though.

If you're missing messages though, then I would suggest either removing and then redownloading your account following the steps here on

How to add or remove a Microsoft account on Xbox One and see if that helps with the situation.
