Xbox live messages dissapearing??

I was just playing a game of Madden 20 online and after a good game the guy messages me. I see the notification pop up but when i open up the message there isnt any chat history? it acts like he has never sent anything before when he just did. I will back
out and his name will be at the top but the message is gone. He sends another. The same thing happens. Its everytime i open up the message preview it dissapears. Very frustrating.

That does sound frustrating. Please try powercycling your console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds till it shuts down to see if that helps.

In the meantime you can always check your messages either from the Xbox App on your PC or only via your Xbox Profile.

Have you checked through the xbox mobile app? I was wondering if it appears there at all?

The waiting queue is not the problem. I recieved the Xbox One Preview message from Xbox Live but it dissapeared so its not the waiting list if i needed to wait months i didnt recieved the message from Xbox Live so ..

Yes but my friend invited me to the Preview program. The next 3 days in the morning i received a notification on my phone saying 'You have a new message from Xbox Live.' when i opened it on SmartGlass & Xbox it just dissapeared.

If you push the escape button the message dissapears and you can play the game
