I was sent a message from xbox saying they gave me $5 automatically on my account because i wasnt able to play the nhl 17 trial . I contacted twice about this and the second person told me that if it apply on my account after 24 hours to go to the forums.
I couldnt decide if this post should go under xbox rewards (because its not an award) or sales because (its not really a sale or a promotion) . Sorry if i sent this too the wrong place.

BUT I NEVER RECIEVED THE 5$!!!!!....helppp

EA Madden/NHL Promo credits of (2) $5 not received case [Mod Removed]

I received (2) message from Xbox Live the first one on Friday Dec 2 and the second one today Monday Dec 5th. The messages reads.

"A promotional credit of $5 has been applied to your Microsoft account because you weren't able to play the Madden NFL 17 EA Access trial. Use this credit in the Xbox or Microsoft Store before it expires on 06/30/2017"

the second one reads the same but it reals NHL 17 EA Access trial instead of Madden NFL 17.

I have contacted MS by chat support and they created a case for me # [Mod Removed] and asked me to post it on this forum.

I know I am late to the party but the same thing happened to me. Trying to play NHL 17 and it kicks me out saying I need Gold and when I go through it says the same error. My account is active on the free trial month but Gold will not work. I was online
chat but they could not help and said they will escalate and get back to me. Wish me luck.
