Xbox live message ads

Simple question: is it possible to block or unsubscribe from promotional ad messages from the xbox live messages? Im sure by now that most gamers and nongamers who own an xbox one or whatever the most recent xbox consle is has gotten a message at some
point from “XBOX Live” saying that you have earned a free worthog for forza or free premium currency MBA 2kXX. All i want to know is if it’s possibly to permenently block these messages from coming through. I dont own any of the games that these messages
are talking about, i have never shown any interest in the games or the genera, and i have no intention of EVER buying those games, but xbox live sends me messages with codes for free stuff all the same just trying to tempt me into paying for an entire game
i DONT WANT! If anyone has any tips for how they block those messages or what theyve heard from microsoft employees, thanks.

Still havent received the Gears codes for 1/2/3

They message you the codes through xbox live.

Thanks for your post. Notifications can be blocked by Visiting Settings>Preferences>Notifications there you can adjust what notifications you will get on the console. Unfortunately, there is not an option to specifically block the "Messages from Xbox Live"
from being received.
